About Franklin Youth Football
Our Vision
The mission of the Franklin Youth Football Association (FYFA) is to provide a learning football experience for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys and girls.
We will work to develop qualities such as teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, confidence & physical ability. It is our intention to provide each participant with the basic football techniques & experience needed to better prepare them for the next level of competition. They will gain these qualities and experiences through participation at both the practice and game level.
FYFA is an independent, community volunteer program, yet we will work together with the Franklin High School football program to insure the kids will receive the necessary skills they will need to advance their football careers at the high school level.
We believe these principles to be true, regardless of the ability of the individual and these goals and qualities will provide the kids success both on and off the playing field.
Dates To Remember
- Coach Brown's Summer Conditioning - All boys entering grades 5-8. June 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28, 30, July 1, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19 (8am-9am - FHS Football Field - waiver required)
- 5th-7th Grade Youth Football Camp - July 23-25 (9am-12pm - FHS Football Field - registration required)
- 8th grade Youth Football Camp - July 22-25 (3pm-5:30pm - FHS Football Field - registration required)
- July 25: Football Camp Cookout (approximately 7pm following HS Camp - Franklin Football Field)
- August 4: Gridiron Club Golf Outing
- August 5-8: First week of practice (Franklin High School)
- August 10: 4th Annual Football Kickoff (all grade levels 1-12) (Swaggers - 7220 W Rawson Ave)
- August 12-15: Second week of practice (Franklin High School)
- August 17: Scrimmage at Mukwonago (5th-8th)
- August 19-22: Third week of practice (Franklin High School)
- August 24: Scrimmage at Mukwonago (5th-8th)
- August 26-29: Fourth week of practice (Franklin High School)
- September 3-5: Fifth week of practice (Franklin High School - 1st game week - 3 days/week for rest of season)
- September 7: First game of the season (scheduled to be finalized by AAYFL and released at a later date)
